Fifty Shades of Grey is Ireland's biggest hit – with €1.3 million at the Box Office

It may be getting mixed reviews, but Fifty Shades of Grey is raking in the money at the Irish Box Office.

Figures released today show that the movie has become the biggest hit in Iris cinemas, pulling in €1.34 million on opening weekend alone.

Last year Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie had become the best selling movie, with €1.02 million on opening weekend, but Co Down native Jamie Dornan has out done Brendan O’Carroll.

The news comes after Goss.ie revealed Jamie has been slammed in reviews for his performance.
