Dick Van Dyke has confirmed that he will be returning to Mary Poppins for the film’s sequel.
The 91-year-old played joyful chimney sweep Bert opposite Julie Andrews in the classic Disney film.
“This one supposedly takes place 20 years later and the kids are all grown up,” he said about the sequel.

The legendary actor will be joined by other major stars and Julie is also rumoured to be returning.
“It’s a great cast – Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury and that guy [Lin-Manuel Miranda]Â from Hamilton,” he told Hollywood Reporter.
The second Mary Poppins film will show in cinemas on Christmas Day 2018.
