Domhnall Gleeson has admitted he’s getting “really excited” for people to finally see his role in Star Wars.
He said: “I got really excited when I saw the trailer the other week. I am a fan. I saw the prequels before I saw the first ones. I am very excited about it.”

But Domhnall, 31, doesn’t have too much time to think about Star Wars after a busy life saw him over in Canada wrapping filming The Revenant.
It tells the tale of a frontiersman who seeks to wreak revenge on men who left him for dead after being mauled by a bear.
And Domhnall is also throwing himself into rehearsals for The Walworth Farce – which he stars in with his dad, Brendan, and brother Brian.

He added: “It’s everything I want in one job. Great actors who I love, a beautiful crazy script, a tip-top director and my favourite venue in the country.”
And Domhnall told the Herald he’s so excited to be back in Dublin – and especially the Olympia Theatre – for the production.
“The Olympia was a really special place for me as a kid. I saw dad perform there so many times so it means a lot,” he said.
“And it is so beautiful and right in the middle of Dublin. I have always loved it.”
