Actress Sarah Greene has admitted she would rather be rich than famous, after landing a role in the latest Bradley Cooper movie.
The Cork star, who has been personally headhunted by the world’s biggest Hollywood producer, Harvey Weinstein, said she isn’t interested in fame.
“(Harvey) asked me what I wanted to do. I was honest. I said, ‘I want to make some money now. It’s about time’.
“He looked shocked and said, ‘Really? No one has ever said that’. I said, ‘Theatre is what I love doing and I would do it for ever, but I want to make some money so I can choose shows I want to do’.”

The Tony Award nominee added that she wasn’t interested in fame, and could see the negative side of being a celebrity after working with Daniel Radcliffe in The Cripple of Inishmaan.
“The minute you open yourself to that, the more they want from you. I have a private life and I want that to be private,” she told the Irish Mirror.
“I see Daniel Radcliffe and think that’s something I’d like. The odd time in New York you
find people taking pictures of you. It’s really rude.”
