Colin Farrell is rumoured to star in the remake of Clint Eastwood’s The Beguiled.
The Sofia Coppola film was originally released in 1971Â and is consiered one of the 86-year-old’s finest pieces of work despite that it made less than $1 million at the box office.
The California native starred as the protagonist John McBurney and Colin is said to be stepping into those same shoes for the remake.

According to Variety, other actors rumoured to star in the film are Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning.
The Dubliner has been busy filming for many films, including the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
