The Cork native stars in new movie Free Fire alongside Brie Larson as an IRA operative.

The now clean shaven actor admitted that his new look was a “women repellent.”

Cillian also revealed that he didn’t prepare very much for his role except for his new facial hair.

“I grew a moustache. That was it,” the actor told the Irish Examiner.

The 40-year-old said that he missed his moustache “terribly” but co-star Sharlto Copley also admitted that only “certain men can carry a ‘tache.”
