Chris O’Dowd’s production firm is making bank, according to recent figures.

The Moone Boy star’s UK production firm Hot Cod Productions jumped by 54pc last year, with the company earning a surplus of £546,244 (€639,374) in 2015, compared to bringing in £354,699 accumulated profits the year before.

The company is behind Chris’ hit TV show Moone Boy, and since it’s release, the value of the firm’s investments has increased from £148,931 to £293,284.

The 36-year-old’s career has taken off since starring in Judd Apatow’s Bridesmaids alongside Kristin Wiig.

The actor is currently filming for his latest film God Particle, which is being directed by J.J. Abrams.
