Bono is making the move to the big screen, working opposite country music legend Willie Nelson in a brand new fantasy adventure film.
The Dublin rocker is the executive producer of the film called Waiting For The Miracle To Come and the U2 frontman will also be writing songs for the soundtrack for Willie to sing.
Bono will be heading state side to shoot to shoot the new flick on Willie’s ranch in Texas alongside movie veteran Charlotte Rampling.
This is not the first feature film for the One Love singer, he has previously been involved in other movie projects including 2007’s Beatles musical Across The Universe where he played drug guru Dr. Robert.

Bono recently made headlines for admitting that release of U2s latest album to all iTunes users for free was a “terrible decision”.
The Dubliner claimed he had no idea all users would have Songs of Innocence available on their accounts.
“It’s like we put a bottle of milk in people’s fridge that they weren’t asking for – it’s a gross invasion!” he said.
“I do appreciate that I might have an extra-special annoying gene.”
