The trailer for Beauty and the Beast has broken the record for most views in a single day.
The record was previously held by Jamie Dornan’s film 50 Shades Darker, that had a whopping 114 million views in the first 24 hours of it’s release.
However, Emma Watson’s new flick easily passed 127 million views in under a day – that’s more than five times the entire population of Ireland.

According to Entertainment.ie, Disney said that approximately 29 million views came from Facebook whilst an additional 27 million came from Emma Watson’s Facebook page with the rest being made up from media sites and other places embedding the trailer in articles.
