Hollywood star Anne Hathaway had told how she feels that she is “quite a bit Irish”.
The Batman actress admitted that “flowing through [her] blood is Irish heritage”.
And Anne, 31, revealed she has kept in touch with a number of her relatives – including a particularly close cousin.
Asked if she has Irish blood, Anne told Newstalk: “That is quite true. My mother’s maiden name is McAuley, and her grandmother’s name was Sinnott.

“And on the other side we have Crausin. There’s only a few that I have met too – and I was to give a big shout out to my dear, dear cousin Noel.”
The Devil Wears Prada star’s family originated from Cork and Donegal.
Previously Anne – who shot Becoming Jane in Ireland in 2007 – has said she would love to live in Ireland but couldn’t deal wit the horrible weather.
She said: “Ireland is pretty magical but the weather is schizophrenic.”
She added: “Ireland is such an amazing country, and I have this little dream in the back of my head that someday I’ll end up living there.”
