TV star Simon Delaney has opened up on working with A-list Hollywood actor Vince Vaughan.
The Saturday AM presenter is making a name for himself in America with a role in the upcoming horror flick The Conjuring 2, the sequel to the blockbuster that grossed over $300m.
The Dublin native previously starred alongside Vince in Delivery Man, playing the actor’s brother.

“He’s a big gentle giant – he is 6ft 7in. I felt like Frodo from Lord Of The Rings,” he admitted.
“Vince was a joy to work with and great craic to hang out with. Not that we were going on the lash every night.
“The myth people have of actors out every night, sleeping half the day in their hammocks is all wrong. You’re working 16-hour days out there,” he told the Irish Daily Mail.
TV: Simon would give up his TV career in Ireland if America came calling
Simon currently still lives in Ireland where he can continue to host his TV3 show alongside Anna Daly, however if work came calling in the US, he would move in a heartbeat.
“The dream is to work but if you have any ambition to work in TV, the States is where it’s at, episodic television like Breaking Bad and House of Cards – juggernauts of shows,” he said.
“It’s a dream in terms of… I love working over there, the East Coast particularly, and would be happy to move over there with the kids.”
