Zayn Malik has responded to claims he “struck” the Yolanda Hadid, Gigi Hadid’s mother.
The former One Direction star has been dating model Gigi since 2015, and welcomed a baby with the LA star in 2020, a daughter named Khai.
TMZ reported on Thursday night that Yolanda was considering “filing charges” against the singer, alleging that he had “struck” her.
Taking to Twitter, Zayn set the record straight, telling his 31 million followers that he wanted to keep his daughter’s “privacy” intact.

While Zayn did not deny the allegation, he did say he agreed not to “contest claims” arising from an “argument” that took place while Gigi, 26, was away.
UPDATE: In response to TMZ’s story, Zayn said in a second statement: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”
Yolanda, 57, came to fame during her stint on the popular reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The show also documented the rise of Gigi and sister Bella’s modelling careers.
