Zac Efron has returned to his Disney roots, as he is set to star in a remake of the iconic 1980’s film Three Men and a Baby.
The actor first rose to fame after playing Troy Bolton in the hit Disney Channel movie High School Musical, and will now star in a Disney Plus adaption of the hit 1987 comedy.
Gordon Gray will produce the remake, while Will Reichel adapts the screenplay.
The 32-year-old will show off his paternal side, as he was confirmed for the film by The Hollywood Reporter on Monday.
Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson starred in the film’s original adaption, where they played three New York bachelors who find themselves taking care of an infant.
No director has been announced for the Disney Plus remake as of yet.
Since his HSM fame, Zac has also starred in hit movies such as The Greatest Showman, played serial killer Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and most recently starred in the Netflix travel docuseries Down to Earth with Zac Efron.
