The 90th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood tonight.

Comedian Jimmy Kimmel returned to reprise his role as Oscars host, and it was a star-studded night from start to finish.

Our very own Saoirse Ronan nabbed her third Oscar nomination this year, she was previously nominated for her role in Brooklyn back in 2016, and was nominated for her part in Atonement back in 2008.

Unfortunately Saoirse didn’t take home an Oscar at the Academy Awards this year, as she lost out to Frances McDormand for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
