The Weinstein Company owes Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence A LOT of money

The company was founded by disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein

Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence are both owed over $100,000 by The Weinstein Company.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the company, which was founded by disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and his brother Bob, owes Meryl $142,965, while Jennifer is owed $102,623.

The Weinstein Company filed for bankruptcy last month, following Harvey’s sex scandal which hit headlines late last year, after numerous women accused him of sexual assault and harassment.

Also on the list of creditors is Pierce Brosnan, John Legend, Julianne Moore, Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Bay, Sir Peter Jackson, Stephen King, and former President Barack Obama’s daughter Malia.

The company estimate their liabilities between $500 million and $1 billion.

As well as that, it also owes $17 million to a law firm in Florida, $14 million to a Chinese production house, and $13 million to a marketing firm in New York.
