WATCH: Miley Cyrus performs for healthcare workers at Super Bowl pregame show

Miley Cyrus was joined on stage by Billy Idol and Joan Jett during a TikTok Tailgate pregame show at the Super Bowl.

The 28-year-old performed for a crowd of vaccinated health-care workers, wearing a metallic two-piece with a set of matching knee pads and a pair of black platform boots.

The singer made a dramatic entrance on to the stage, as she road out on a patriotic-themed motorcycle.

The former Disney star honoured her the well-remembered 2013 MTV Video Music Award’s performance by using a giant foam finger, and changed into to a black and pink sparkly football get-up.

The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus sang an array of throwback songs, and even paid tribute to Britney Spears while performing her hit track Party in the USA.

Miley got emotional while singing her 2013 hit Wrecking Ball, as she explained to the audience that it was about feeling “completely broken and shattered”.

She said: “Everyone’s suffering is different, even everyone’s threshold of pain. I wear a lot of glitter, I wear a lot of armour and I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot.”
