When Leighton Meester and Adam Brody married, their collective fans started freaking out.
The actress played Blair on Gossip Girl while her husband portrayed Seth on The O.C. – and both were the fan favourite characters of their shows.
The pair have finally addressed the fact that Blair and Seth married in real life, and Adam admitted to Entertainment Tonight that they “occasionally” laugh about it.

“Once a year, randomly, on our Seth and Blair day,” he joked. “We dress up. It’s good for a laugh.”
And Leighton added that they are mostly happy fans are so supportive.
“It doesn’t excite us, I think, because we’re just human beings… but it’s exciting to us that it’s exciting to you. It’s cool,” she explained.

The pair – who sadly revealed that they never watched each other’s TV shows – gave the interview while serving lunch to children through Feeding America at  Para Los Niños Charter School in LA.
“It’s really nice to get to see them one on one and actually have contact with them and see the difference that you’re hopefully making, and to be able to play,” Leighton said. “They’re so much fun. And they’re so smart, and cool and awesome.”
