WATCH: Demi Lovato and James Corden have an EPIC divas riff-off

Demi Lovato and James Corden battled it out during an incredible riff-off on The Late Late Show.

The pop star came in and challenged the host after he claimed that divas from back in the day are better than divas now.

James declared, “I’ve got hits from before you were born,” and Demi shot back, “And I’ve got hits that are my own,” before they belted out a series of famous songs with the help of an a cappella group.

Demi kicked things off with Adele’s Rolling In The Deep, before James delivered a rendition of Tina Turner’s River Deep – Mountain High.

For the next round, James started things off with Aretha Franklin’s classic hit Respect, and Demi followed it up with Roar by Katy Perry.

She then performed part of her own hit song Heart Attack, dropping the mic afterwards as James faked tears.

Eventually the pair decided they can “live in a world where divas then and divas now are both great”, and ended the fun segment with a duet of Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive.
