Joe and Jill Biden met Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle on Sunday.
The meeting marked the Queen’s first major engagement since the death of her husband Prince Philip, who passed away on April 9 at the age of 99.
A Guard of Honor formed of the Queen’s Company First Battalion Grenadier Guards gave the US President and First Lady a royal salute on arrival, before they enjoyed tea with the British monarch in the State Apartments at the castle.
