Tyra Banks has some VERY exciting news for America’s Next Top Model fans

It’s the moment that America’s Next Top Model fans have been waiting for.

Tyra Banks has announced that she is returning to the modelling competition show as head judge.

“I missed my ANTM baby so Mama’s back! #ANTM #ANTM24,” the star tweeted on Thursday, before thanking Rita Ora for presenting the last season.

“Mizz @ritaora, you exemplify Business Boss Brand to the fullest! Thank you for all the amazingness you brought to ANTM,” she added.

Rita replied, “Thank you Tyra! Was such an honour and pleasure being on your show. Everyone welcome Tyra back!!”

Tyra left the show after season 22, when it was cancelled by The CW, but it was picked up by VH1 with Rita, Ashley Graham, Drew Elliott and Law Roach coming aboard as judges.

The supermodel appeared as a special guest judge for the season 23 finale, which aired last week.

America’s Next Top Model was created by Tyra and originally premiered in 2003. There have been over 30 different versions of the series around the world.

Some of the most successful contestants include Yaya DaCosta, Eva Marcille Pigford, Adrianne Curry and Analeigh Tipton.
