Tributes have been pouring in for Home and Away star Dieter Brummer, who has passed away aged 45.
The actor played Shane Parrish in the popular Australian soap from 1992 until 1996, and also starred in Neighbours as Troy Miller.
The star was found dead by police on Saturday afternoon in Sydney after requests for a welfare check, and police have confirmed his death is not being treated as suspicious.

New South Wales Police told news.com.au: “About 1.30pm, officers from The Hills Police Area Command responded to reports of a concern for welfare at a home on Glenhaven Road, Glenhaven.”
“The body of a man was located inside the home. His death is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.”
Taking to Instagram to pay tribute to Dieter, Home and Away wrote: “Home and Away and @channel7 are deeply saddened to hear of Dieter Brummer’s passing.”
“Dieter was a much-loved Home and Away cast member and celebrated by Australian and international audiences for his award-winning portrayal of Shane Parrish. We send our sincere condolences to Dieter’s family and friends during this very difficult time.”

The channel then shared the phone number for mental health and suicide prevention charity Lifeline.
The Instagram account for Neighbours wrote: “Vale Dieter Brummer, joined the Neighbours alumni in 2012 as Capt. Troy Miller. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. 💛”
Actor Laura Vazquez, who starred alongside Dieter during his time on Home and Away, shared some throwback images alongside Home and Away cast mates.
She wrote: “Such a sad day 😢 RIP my friend Dieter 🙏🏻 You’re at peace and in a better place 🕊🕊.”

Bruce Roberts, who played Dieter’s on screen brother Nick in Home and Away, also paid tribute to the late star.
He penned: “I’m shattered by the death of my @homeandaway brother Dieter Brummer. We spent hours together on & off set. He was caring, funny & always enthusiastic.”
“We had to shoot the Parrish brothers boxing. He hit me so hard I lost a contact lens. We both laughed. Vale Deets. Rest easy.”
Emily Symons, who still plays Marylin Chamber’s in Home and Away, wrote: “I can’t believe this absolutely tragic news. Dieter was such a lovely, kind, genuine person. I always enjoyed working with him.”
