Tom Cruise has reportedly banned his ex-wife Nicole Kidman from their son Connor’s upcoming wedding.

The former couple’s 24-year-old son is set to wed his Italian girlfriend Silvia in a Scientologist ceremony – and Nicole won’t be there to see her son walk down the aisle.

A ‘source’ told RadarOnline: “Tom is behind this and what he wants is as good as law. Tom made the call and Connor followed.”

Nicole and Tom tied the knot back in 1990, and adopted two children together – Connor, now 24, and Isabella, now 26.

The a-list couple sadly split in 2001, and Tom retained custody of their children who, like him, are devout Scientologists.

The insider continued, “First, Tom would never even consider inviting Nicole to Connor’s wedding because she’s considered a ‘suppressive person’ by the church — and, second, he doesn’t want her there.”

The source also claimed that Tom adores Connor’s fiancée, who has reportedly been dubbed the “Scientology Princess”.

The news comes after Nicole missed her daughter Isabella’s wedding to her husband Max Parker back in 2015.

Despite rumours of a rift between them, Nicole spoke about her children lovingly during an interview with Who magazine last year.

She said: “I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them.”

Nicole is now happily married to musician Keith Urban, and the couple are parents to 10-year-old Sunday, and eight-year-old Faith.
