Taylor Swift reignites her feud with Kanye West by ‘liking’ shady post about him

The singer isn't holding back

Taylor Swift has reignited her long-time feud with rapper Kanye West, by ‘liking’ a shady post about him on Instagram.

The post in question was shared by a fan account, and it criticised Kanye and his music video for ‘Famous’ – which featured naked wax figures of Taylor, and a host of other celebrities including Amber Rose, Ray J, Caitlyn Jenner, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Bill Cosby and Donald Trump.

The post included a screenshot of a tweet, which read, “The famous music video was straight up revenge porn. not to mention putting abuse victims next to their abusers and celebrating sexual assaulters. it was disgusting and he doesn’t get enough crap for it.” [sic]

In the caption, the fan account added, “It’s so weird to see how Kanye got away with putting realistic depictions of naked celebrities in his video.”

“I was reading comments the other day and people said they didn’t like Taylor because she ‘uses songs to humiliate her ex boyfriends’, we know that’s not true but isn’t it strange that they don’t apply that same logic to a man putting a naked woman in his music video that’s been viewed millions of times because he just doesn’t like her.”

Letting her feelings be known, Taylor swiftly liked the fans post, meaning she still has beef with the Chicago-born rapper.

For those who don’t know, Taylor and Kanye’s feud actually dates back to 2009 – when he stormed the stage during her speech at the VMAs.

Years later, the pair eventually made up and became quite friendly – which leads us to Kanye’s ‘Famous’ track.

Back in 2016, the rapper released the song which included the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”

After releasing the song through his Life of Pablo album, Taylor suddenly claimed that Kanye never got her permission to call her “that bitch” in the song – and it sparked one of the biggest celebrity feuds of the 21st century.

Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian then got involved, by releasing a series of videos on her Snapchat Story – showing Kanye and Taylor discussing the lyrics over the phone while he was recording the track in the studio.

The songstress was dubbed a “snake” by Kim following the controversy, and the scandal later inspired Taylor’s latest album Reputation.

In her new music, Taylor alluded to her feud with Kanye and Kim, and poked fun at the scandal by making snakes a big part of her tour set and design.

The 29-year-old recently addressed her feud with the couple in a personal letter she wrote for Elle magazine.

She wrote: “A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet.”

“The fact that so many people jumped on board with it led me to feeling lower than I’ve ever felt in my life, but I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans.”

She added, “It’s the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with ‘lol’.”

“It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us, but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it.”
