Taylor Lautner has revealed we’ve been pronouncing his name wrong for years.
The American actor shot to fame when he starred in The Twilight Saga film series as shapeshifter Jacob Black.
Since the first Twilight movie was released in 2008, most people have pronounced his name like Taylor Lot-ner.

However, the 29-year-old has revealed that’s not the correct way to pronounce his name.
During an interview with E! News, Taylor said the first syllable of his last name actually rhymes with “out” and not “lot”.
So basically, his name is pronounced Taylor Lowt-ner, not Lot-ner.
Taylor cleared up the confusion surrounding his last name almost three months after he announced his engagement to his girlfriend Tay Dome.

Sharing photos of the moment he proposed on Instagram, the actor wrote: “11.11.2021. And just like that, all of my wishes came true.”
Tay also shared the exciting news with her Instagram followers, writing: “My absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU.”
The couple confirmed their romance in October 2018.
