A surprising number of Fyre Festival ticket holders ACTUALLY want to attend next year

Despite Fyre Festival descending into utter chaos last week, the majority of ticket holders actually want to attend next year’s event rather than get their refund.

The news comes after co-founder Billy McFarland insisted that he and fellow co-founder Ja Rule fully intend on going ahead with the festival next year.

Promoted as a luxury event by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, organisers caused uproar as ticket holders arrived to “private villas” that resembled disaster relief tents, a lack of food and water, and to find out that all headliners had pulled out of the line-up.

However, after forms for refunds were sent to every guest, which offered VIP passes for next year instead of refund, it has been revealed that most are actually willing to attend next year.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, a festival management team member said, “Once the refund application process is complete, we will start sharing news on plans for Fyre Festival 2018.

“Currently 81% of guests who have filled out the refund application have said they would like to attend Fyre Festival 2018. We are so thankful for their support and excitement as we strive to make this right.”

Meanwhile, one guest is in the process of suing the organisers for $100 million.
