Stars defend Chris Pratt after he’s dubbed ‘worst Chris in Hollywood’ on Twitter

Stars have rushed to Chris Pratt’s defence after he was dubbed the “worst Chris in Hollywood” on Twitter.

A Twitter user posted a collage photo of different Hollywood stars named Chris – including Chris Pine, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth – along with the caption: “One has to go.”

Responding to the poll, one user wrote: “Chris Pratt is not movie star material and never will be, he will always be the forgettable co-star”, while others were critical of his religious beliefs.

Others chose the Marvel star because of his alleged Republican political views, although he has never openly advocated for a political candidate – previously telling Men’s Fitness that he doesn’t feel represented by either the Republican or Democratic party.

Following the online discussion, many penned Chris the “worst Hollywood Chris”, which caused some of his A-list friends to jump to his defence.

Chris’ wife Katherine Schwarzenegger responded to a post about the poll on E!New’s Instagram, asking: “Is this really what we need?

“There’s so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways. Being mean is so yesterday.

“There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that.”

After E!'s Instagram addressed the controversy in a post, Schwarzenegger responded to the outlet, saying they were wrong to give air to the mean-spirited social media story

Taking to Instagram, Robert Downey Jr. shared a snap on set with Chris, writing: “What a world… The “sinless” are casting stones at my #brother, Chris Pratt…

“A real #Christian who lives by #principle, has never demonstrated anything but #positivity and #gratitude… AND he just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value.

“If you take issue with Chris, I’ve got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of #character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness..”

Mark Ruffalo tweeted: “You all, @prattprattpratt is as solid a man there is. I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life.

“He is just not overtly political as a rule. This is a distraction. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize, friends. We are so close now,” he wrote, encouraging his followers to vote in the upcoming US presidential elections.
