Sofia Richie doesn’t feel the need to ‘prove’ her relationship with Scott Disick

The model admitted that she likes to keep their relationship "private"

Sofia Richie has revealed that she doesn’t feel the need to “prove” her relationship with Scott Disick.

The couple have been together since 2017, and their romance took a serious turn last year when Sofia joined Scott, his ex Kourtney Kardashian, and their three kids on holiday.

Speaking about her relationship with Scott during a new interview with Tatler, Sofia said, “I think a lot of people think they have to prove their relationships through social media and I’m just happy being private about my relationship.”

“It’s not like I won’t post pictures about it, but I like having my little private life.”

During her interview, the 20-year-old also slammed claims that she loves going out by saying, “I’m not a party girl and I really don’t like the paparazzi.”

In fact, Sofia prefers to host game nights at home with Scott, and whenever they do go out – they keep it super low-key.

“Whatever we do, whether it’s going to the cinema or dinner, we’ll always just end up going home and watching a movie after,” she said.

Sofia also opened up about her upbringing, and growing up with her “strict” father Lionel Richie.

She said: “When I say my dad was strict, he came from a Southern family and he still very much believes in the morals his parents instilled in him.”

“I wasn’t one of those privileged, spoilt children. We had our blessings, but I was told if I wanted something I had to do it for myself.”
