America’s Got Talent is under investigation by the network, NBC.

It comes after the controversial sacking of Gabrielle Union, who was a judge on the show for one season.

The 47-year-old actress suggested working on the show was “toxic”, after her contract was not renewed for the show.

In a previous report by Variety, it was alleged that the Bring it On star was told her hairstyles were “too black” for America’s Got Talent audience, among other grievances.

According to the publication, the actress reported a racist audition to executive producers, but they disagreed with her.

Gabrielle then pressed the issue further, insisting the live audience shouldn’t be subjected to racial insensitivity.

Inevitably, the audition did not make the final edit and was not aired.

The former judge tweeted yesterday to reveal she had a 5-hour meeting with the network, in hopes of resolving on-going issues.

“We had a lengthy 5-hour, and what I thought to be, productive meeting yesterday. I was able to, again, express my unfiltered truth. I led with transparency and my desire and hope for real change,” Gabrielle wrote.

A network spokesperson also told The Los Angeles Times there would be a “further investigation” into the incident, revealing they are working towards a “positive resolution.”

“The initial conversation was candid and productive. While there will be a further investigation to get a deeper understanding of the facts, we are working with Gabrielle to come to a positive resolution.”

Fellow judge Julianne Hough did not have her contract renewed either, and replacements for both judges are yet to be confirmed.
