Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause stands up for co-star Christine Quinn

Chrishell Stause has jumped to the defence of her Selling Sunset co-star Christine Quinn, pleading with her fans to stop sending “vitriol” to the star.

Season three of the hit Netflix show dropped on Friday, with one of the season’s focal points being Chrishell and Justin Hartley’s shock divorce.

After one fan of the show took a screen recording of Christine liking a tweet that bashed Chrishell, the 39-year-old responded: “I TRY not to let people’s actions dictate what I believe in. Regardless”.

Chrishell went on to tweet: “I SO appreciate all the love you guys have given for #SellingSunset wow! That being said, some of you are attacking a certain person in defending me.”

“I appreciate the sentiment because certain things made me mad too. But I hate feeling like someone is getting bullied.”

“Want to help empower women and if my tweet has any say at all I just hope you can keep the passion but maybe minus the vitriol..?”

Chrishell added: “Love you guys SO much though and LOVE your enthusiam!”

Another Twitter user responded to Chrishell’s tweet writing: “I love that you’re worried about someone who seemingly (because I only have the show to base it off), wouldn’t do the same.”

Maybe not,” Chrishell responded, “But I don’t want how someone else acts to dictate what I stand for.”

The glamorous real estate agents have clashed many times on the show, with season three showing Christine question whether Chrishell was really “blindsided” by her ex-husband’s decision to file for divorce.

During an appearance on Goss Chats, Christine previously opened up about the tension between her and Chrishell.

She told us: “After season one, there was so much tension and throughout filming there was so much tension. We found ourselves being less and less of friends.”

“When we were filming, there were times that she didn’t want to be in the same room with me. She didn’t want to do scenes with me. It was really really hard,” she admitted.

“All I’m trying to do is move on and she’s not making it easy on me.”

On the latest episode of Goss Chats, Goss.ie Founder & CEO Ali Ryan sits down with beauty guru Mark Rogers.

From his upcoming wedding to surrogacy plans, Mark opens up about a hectic few months ahead.
