Selena Gomez has slammed Billboard magazine’s article about her as “hurtful”.

The singer was recently honoured as Billboard’s Woman of the Year, and posed for the magazine’s front cover – which included an in-depth interview.

However, it looks like Selena’s wasn’t happy with how the cover interview turned out.

Posting a screenshot of an online version of the article on her Instagram stories, Selena wrote, “Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home. That is so hurtful.”

She continued, “The most ‘ridiculous’ part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.”

The post on her Instagram story has since been removed, but fans had already captured the cryptic post.

In another bizarre twist, Selena made her Instagram private – but she has since put it back to public.

The portion of the article she shared was about a giant teddy bear that she keeps in her home.

It read, “There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home. ‘I know, I know,’ says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn’t quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. ‘It was a gift, and at first I thought, This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.’ But Gomez, 25, hasn’t let go of it — yet.”

The article was published on November 30, around the same time Selena was honoured as Billboard’s Woman of the Year.

Last week, Selena shared her Billboard cover on social media, thanking them for the honour – however, it looks like she’s since changed her tune.
