Selena Gomez has released an emotional new track called ‘Lose You To Love Me’, and fans are convinced the song is about her toxic relationship with Justin Bieber.

The 27-year-old sings about learning to love herself, after letting go of a hurtful relationship.

Selena seems to reference Justin multiple times during the song.

On one verse, she sings, “Set fire to my purpose and I let it burn / You got off in the hurtin’ when I wasn’t yours,” which fans think is a reference to Justin’s 2015 album Purpose.

Later in the song, Selena also points out how fast Justin moved on with Hailey Baldwin.

She sings, “In two months you replaced us like it was easy / Made me think I deserved it in the thick of healing.”

Following their break up in 2014, Selena and Justin reunited in late 2017, but called it quits in March of last year.

Not long after, Justin started hanging out with his ex Hailey again, and the pair got engaged while in the Bahamas in July.

Last October, it was reported that Selena was “hit hard” by Justin and Hailey’s engagement, before the singer suffered an alleged “emotional breakdown”.

Selena dropped the emotional song just weeks after Justin and Hailey tied the knot in front of their celebrity friends in South Carolina.

In a statement, Selena said: “This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album.”

“I thought it was important to share the music, as I know many can relate to the fact that the road to self-discovery generally comes through the scars in one’s life.”

“I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself,” she added.
