Taylor Swift’s fans are not happy with Selena Gomez, after she promoted Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line on Instagram.
The singer posted a photo of herself wearing SKIMS on her Instagram Story, and described them as “so freaking comfortable”.
Not long after, fans reminded Selena that the brand’s owner, Kim Kardashian, fell out with her longtime friend Taylor Swift back in 2016.
Taylor got into a row with Kim and her husband Kanye West over the lyrics in his hit song ‘Famous’, in which he referred to her as “that b***h”.
After Taylor denied the fact that she had approved the lyrics, Kim leaked a video of Taylor and Kanye discussing the song’s lyrics during a phone conversation in the studio – which led to a war of words on social media.
Clearly, Selena noticed fans criticism on social media, as she later deleted her post promoting Kim’s shapewear range, and then posted a selfie of her and Taylor.
Making it clear that she’s on Taylor’s side, she wrote: “My ride or die, I would die for this one.”
“Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better human being. I’m on your side for life.”
