Scott Disick has opened up about his split from Sofia Richie.
The reality star, 37, and his 22-year-old ex-girlfriend officially split last May after three years of dating.
In a new teaser for the final season of KUWTK, Scott sat down with Kourtney Kardashian to discuss why he took a “break” from his relationship with Sofia.
He said: “I think people come into our lives and think it’s maybe easier than they think. But it’s very true that we come with a lot of baggage and it’s definitely not easy that we see each other, work together and are friends.”
“I’ve always been clear that my priority has been my children, my life with them… I even put it out there that taking care of you is one of my priorities,” Scott explained.
“When you first get with someone, everyone is like making changes and oh I will do anything because I’m so happy and so in love and so excited but then when it sinks in and it becomes real, life it’s a lot different.”
“I don’t think I could do it the other way around but I’ve always been clear that my priority has been my children, my life with them and I even put it out there that taking care of you is one of my priorities.”
In his confessional, the father-of-three added: “I realise that Sofia has been an absolute trooper but the truth is anybody dating somebody is going to feel neglected when their significant other is spending more time with their ex than with them.”
Speaking to Kourtney, Scott said: “You know I just don’t know are we just gonna like grow old just travelling the world with the kids living like one house down from each other or together at some point.”
Kourtney replied: “Well I think that its great we can do that with the kids and the kids like love it you know. But I do think that we have to be respectful of our relationship and make sacrifices for that if it means a lot to you.”
Kourtney and Scott split for good in 2015, but they’ve continued to co-parent their three children – Mason (11), Penelope (8) and Reign (6).
Scott is now dating 19-year-old model Amelia Hamlin, while Kourtney is dating Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
