Scooter Braun breaks silence on Taylor Swift drama in cryptic post

The music manager has made his feelings very clear

Scooter Braun has broken his silence on social media, amid the controversy surrounding Taylor Swift’s back catalogue.

The music mogul, who manages Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, took to Instagram and Twitter to share a quote which reads, “Kindness is the only response.”

Making his feelings known, Scooter captioned the post: “Words to live by.”

He also posted the quote directly to his Instagram Story, to make sure everyone knows his stance on the row.

Scooter hit headlines this week when Taylor Swift claimed he was blocking her from performing her older songs at the AMA Awards this weekend.

The music manager, who bought Big Machine Records in June, now controls the rights to her back catalogue up to 2018.

Celebrities including Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Lily Allen and Halsey have all been vocal about their support for Taylor.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes have faced backlash for not speaking out in Taylor’s favour.

The Shake It Off singer will be honoured with Artist of The Decade at the American Music Awards next Monday.
