Sarah Michelle Gellar was slammed by fans for sharing snaps from a photoshoot as a reminder “not to overeat” at Thanksgiving.
The actress posted pictures of herself from a lingerie photoshoot and told fans that she was going to stick the snaps all over her house on Thursday, to stop her from indulging on the holiday.
“I’m just going to pin these up all over my house as a reminder not to overeat on Thursday,” the 41-year-old wrote.

Fans were not happy about Sarah’s post and quickly hit back at the celeb, with comments such as: “Please consider rewording this, there’s nothing wrong with eating or being something other than skinny. And this post is a great way to trigger people’s eating disorders.”
“I think she’s great and obviously very beautiful but the caption was pretty sad and disappointing but that’s just my opinion and I’m pretty sure it was a joke,” another fan wrote.
“Wow @Sarahmgellar first time I’ve ever been disappointed with one of your posts. Very dangerous and insensitive wording here.”
Many fans were so shocked by the mother-of-two’s post, because she regularly posts about food and even founded her own organic home-baking kit company called Foodstirs.
