Sarah Jessica Parker has confessed that she hopes to “redefine” her feud with her Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall.

Speaking to Vulture, she admitted that she wanted to set the record straight, insisting that there was no cat fight.

“I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight. I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it,” she said.

The two stars have been embroiled in a war of words since it was announced that a third Sex and the City movie would not be happening because Kim, who played Samantha, was not willing to sign on.

“If she chooses not to do the third movie, there’s not a lot I can do to change her mind and we must respect it. That’s the only thing I’ve ever said about it, you know?” SJP added.

Despite the fact that she insisted her coworkers were disappointed there would not be a third movie, she insisted, “No, there is no catfight, there never has been a catfight. I’ve never fought with someone publicly in my life, nor would I.”

When it was discovered that the third movie wasn’t happening, it was reportedly due to Kim’s “diva” demands and behavior.

However, Kim fought back during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, in which she revealed she had a “toxic relationship” with some cast members and claimed that Sarah Jessica Parker “could have been nicer.”

“This is really where I take to task the people from Sex And The City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, is that I think she could have been nicer. I really think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is,” she said at the time.

“The thing that still bothers me is this feeling of being in some way made to be the baddie. I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous,” Kim said.

Shortly after their feud blew up in the media, Kim’s brother went missing, and was found dead just a few days later.

On Kim’s emotional post announcing his passing, SJP shared her condolences by commenting, “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”

However, in a shocking move, the 61-year-old fired back by dedicating a post to SJP, writing, “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker.”

In the caption, she accused her co-star of being a hypocrite, cruel, and exploiting her tragedy to restore her “nice girl” persona.

The Carrie Bradshaw actress had remained silent following the aggressive post until now.

SJP hinted at wanting to put an end to the feud, stating, “We spent 10, 12 years of our life doing something that I really loved and I feel privileged to be part of and I don’t want this to eclipse it or change its experience for that audience that was so good to us for so long.”
