Sandra Oh delivered a powerful speech about diversity at the Golden Globes.
The actress not only co-hosted the award ceremony, alongside Andy Samberg, but she also won Best Actress in a TV Series.
In her acceptance speech, the 47-year-old spoke out about diversity in Hollywood, as she is the first Asian woman to ever host the awards and is also the first Asian in nearly forty years to win Best Actress in a TV Series.

“I said yes to the fear of being on this stage tonight because I wanted… to look out onto this audience and witness this moment of change,” the actress began.
“Next year could be different, but right now this moment is real. Because I see you… all these faces of change. And now so will everyone else.”
The actress also thanked her parents in Korean and finished her speech by bowing and saying: “There are two people here tonight that I’m so grateful that they’re here with me. I’d like to thank my mother and my father. Eomma, appa! Salanghaeyo.Mum, dad… I love you.”
