Ryan Seacrest’s former stylist alleges he sexual harassed and abused her

Suzie Hardy landed the job as Ryan Seacrest’s stylist at E! in 2007, and her employment ended in 2013 after she reported his sexual advances to human resources.

Hardy was a single mum when she landed the role and put up with his alleged inappropriate behaviour for fear of losing her job and not being able to provide for her daughter, a fear that proved legitimate.

Variety obtained the letter from her attorney to E! last November and have since spoken to Hardy about the allegations.

They cite the allegations as “unwanted sexual aggression — grinding his erect penis against her while clad only in his underwear, groping her vagina, and at one point slapping her buttock so hard that it left a large welt still visible hours later.”

Despite therapy she is still understandably disturbed by the abuse she endured.

“As proud as I am and as strong as a woman as I am, as smart as I am and as much work as I’ve done with therapists, it really affected me”.

The letter to E! in November asked the Ryan and the station to “come up with a plan to address the treatment of all women at the networks and to take responsibility for the wrongful treatment” of Hardy.

It went on to inform them that “more formal action” would ensue if the request was ignored.

Seacrest made the allegation public on the 17th of November in a statement which would have made it known that Hardy had put forth what he referred to as “reckless allegations.”

He announced that E! was investigating a misconduct complaint against him made by “someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News“.

NBCUniversal hired outside councel for an investigation which “insufficient evidence to support the claims against Seacrest.”

Of the investigation Hardy felt “it was obvious the investigator was whitewashing it for Seacrest’s side.”

She claimed the investigator didn’t even contact four witnesses she made known to him who could corroborate the way Seacrest treated her.

While he is well recognised from his time as a presenter on E! News and also from his radio presenting, he is very heavily involved behind the scenes n E! too serving as an excutive producer for a wealth of shows.

These include huge titles such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Life of Kylie, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami and E! Live From The Red Carpet.

Forbes estimate Ryan’s net worth at $58million.

The allegations come not long after Cat Sadler left E! after the station refused to correct a gender pay gap between her and her co-host, Jason Kennedy.

She was shocked to find out that she earned only half of her male colleagues salary.

Us Weekly reported that Jason’s salary was approximately $1million while Cat was earning $600,000 for the same role.
