Rose McGowan’s ex manager dead of suicide

Hollywood producer Jill Messick, who repped Rose McGowan’s manager in 1997 at the time of her alleged Harvey Weinstein attack, has taken her own life.

Jill died, age 50, with her family releasing a statement admitting she w as bi-polar and being brought back into the scandal by both Rose and Harvey led to her suicide.

“Words matter. Someone’s life may depend on it,” their statement read.

Rose, who claims Harvey Weinstein raped her the year Jill represented her, released a book last month called Brave, where she detailed the ordeal.

Rose had previously been asked if anyone knew about the alleged attack, to which she replied: “Yes, but she got a job with him for seven years right afterwards.”

“What makes Rose’s inaccurate accusations and insinuations against Jill ironic was that she was the first person who stood up on Rose’s behalf, and alerted her bosses to the horrific experience which Rose suffered,” Jill’s family wrote in a statement.

“There is a responsibility when using a platform to accurately expose criminals, predators, mistruths and misdeeds while protecting the actual truth of third parties,” they added.
