Rihanna has reportedly been recording material for her new album on an island in Essex, England.
The singer has secretly been living in the UK for the past year, and it’s believed RiRi has rented Osea Island, which is situated in the estuary of the River Blackwater.
The island is approximately 550 acres in size, and it reportedly costs about £20,000 to rent per day.
According to the UK Mirror, Osea Island boats a state-of-the-art studio, a gym, a cinema, a swimming pool, and plenty of accommodation for her entourage.
A source told the newspaper: “Rihanna has invited family to spend time with her while she works.”
“She’s had a few stints in the studio since her last album, but she’s been really focused on her makeup, clothing and lingerie lines.
“But since she moved to London, she has had friends and family staying with her so she can work at her own pace, surrounded by the people she loves.”
The news comes after Rihanna was officially named the world’s richest female musician, thanks to her $600million fortune.Â
