Reese Witherspoon has teased fans about Legally Blonde 3, as she celebrated the original film’s 20th anniversary.
The actress played sorority sister turned law student Elle Woods in the cult classic film, which was released back in 2001.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night, the 45-year-old shared rare behind-the-scenes snaps from Legally Blonde, alongside a heartwarming caption.

Reese wrote: “Omigod you guys ….#LegallyBlonde premiered 20 years ago TODAY! Time flies when you’re busy using legal jargon in your every day life.”
“But truly… playing Elle Woods was the role of a life time and I’m so honored to have been a part of sharing her story with you all.”
“Every meme, graduation cap, musical number, halloween costume and bend & snap has brought me so much JOY over these past two decades!”
“I wonder… what will Elle do next?” she teased.
Last May, the actress confirmed that she’s working on another Legally Blonde sequel.
The third flick will be produced through her company Hello Sunshine, and will be written by comedic actress Mindy Kaling and comedy writer Dan Goor.
Announcing the news on social media, Reese said she couldn’t wait for audiences to see the third instalment.
