Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reveal the gender of their second child

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed the gender of their second child.

On Valentine’s Day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they are expecting their second child, after welcoming their son Archie in 2019.

During their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired on CBS on Sunday night, the couple revealed they are expecting a baby girl.

Harry said: “To have a boy then a girl — what more can you ask for?”

The couple also revealed they are not planning on having anymore children after the birth of their daughter, saying: “Two is it.”

Speaking about how he feels about becoming a father to a baby girl, Harry said: “Grateful, having any child, any one or a two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl… now we’ve got our family and we’ve got four of us.”

The couple revealed they are due to give birth in the summer.

Sharing their pregnancy news at the time, a spokesperson for the couple said: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A Primetime Special airs on RTÉ2 tonight at 9:30pm.
