Police responded after Harvey Weinstein’s daughter reportedly says he’s “suicidal.”
According to TMZ, the daughter of disgraced Hollywood mogul called 911 this morning to report that her father was feeling suicidal.
They reported that the police responded to Remy Weinstein’s call around 10:30am, showing up at her Los Angeles home after a family argument involving Harvey Weinstein made its way onto the street.
They reported that the movie producer could be heard yelling at his daughter that she was “making it worse” while attempting to get a random car to stop to give him a ride.
Variety confirmed with the Los Angeles Police Department that law enforcement did respond to a “family dispute” call at the 22-year-old’s house.
TMZ also states that during the 911 call, Remy said her father was “suicidal and depressed.”
Both outlets indicate that police left shortly after arriving when it was determined that it was merely a family argument.
Video obtained by TMZ shows Harvey Weinstein leaving the house along with another person.
