P!nk’s husband warns looters that they ‘will be shot on site’ after they were evacuated from their Malibu home

P!nk’s husband, Carey Hart, has warned looters that they “will be shot on site” after they were evacuated from their Malibu home as a result of the California wildfires.

The pro motorcycle racer shared an image of a group of men holding rifles, with masks, hats and sunglasses on, standing behind a large sign which said: “Looters will be shot on site! PDC Posse”.

The father-of-two captioned the Instagram snap: “It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis. While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires.”

“There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu. #DefendYourLand #2ndamendment.”

P!nk and Carey’s $110M mansion is believed to have escaped the wildfire, although the family were evacuated from the area.

The 43-year-old’s Instagram post sparked mixed reactions, as many disagreed with his support of the second amendment, which grants American citizens the right to bear arms.

“You Liberal poseurs are not in Texas. Put the guns away before you get arrested for exercising your 2nd Amendment rights,” one fan wrote, as the gun laws in California are some of the most restrictive in America.

On Monday the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office announced that law enforcements were being dispatched to deal with looters, as homes and businesses were destroyed and evacuated throughout California.

“We have experienced some looting activity during the past two days. Southeastern Ventura County is within a declared disaster area. People need to stay out of the area to let public safety crews do their work,” the department said in a press release.

“People found in areas where they do not belong will be contacted by law enforcement and may be arrested.”
