Pink has responded to the news that a baby girl was born at her concert in Liverpool this week.
Denise Jones was 36 weeks pregnant when she suddenly went into labour just before the first song at Pink’s gig at Anfield football stadium.
Paramedics rushed to the 32-year-old’s side, and Denise ended up giving birth just four minutes after Pink took to the stage.
After her shock delivery, Denise decided to name her baby girl Dolly Pink, in honour of the US singer.

Naturally, the news started hitting headlines in the UK, and Pink took to social media to respond.
Posting a screenshot of an ECHO news article on Instagram, Pink wrote: “Dolly Pink wanted to get the party started.”
Speaking to the newspaper from hospital, Denise joked: “I’m still massively in shock, just a bit gutted I missed the concert. But I couldn’t be any happier right now!”
