Also steal the limelight on the red carpet was Loving star Ruth Negga.

The Irish actress is nominated for her first Oscar this weekend, and is quickly getting known for her fresh style.

Ruth wore a short black midi top, shaped like a bow, pairing it with a long floral skirt.

Meanwhile Freida Pintox  opted for a bright yellow number.

The Slumdog Millionaire star wore this revealing lace number as she joined stars on the red carpet.

Pairing the look with bright red lipstick, the actress definitely stood out.

Although there were lots of bright colours on the night, Amanda Peet opted for all black.

The Good Wife actress went for a long floral skirt, with a black long-sleeved top.

Also opting for a pony tail, the star looked comfortable and elegant.

Molly Shannon went all red on the night.

The actress went for a floor-length gown for the awards ceremony, with an off-the-shoulder sleeve.

Wearing minimal jewellery, Molly went for a more simple look and let her dress do all the talking.

Bringing a younger look to the carpet, Riley Keogh sported this short white number.

The daughter of Lisa Marie Presley wore her blonde hair poker straight, showing off her tattoos in a short-sleeved dress.
