The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night.

The awards honour the best achievements in film and television performances for the year 2017 – and Hollywood’s biggest stars dressed up for the occasion.

One of our best dressed on the night was our very own Saoirse Ronan, who unfortunately lost out to Frances McDormand in the Best Actress category.

The Carlow native stunned on the red carpet wearing a floor-length pink gown, which was custom made by Louis Vuitton.

Another star who killed it on the red carpet was Margot Robbie, who was nominated for her portrayal of Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya.

Although she didn’t win on the night, she definitely struck gold in the style stakes in this sensational pink Miu Miu dress.

Nicole Kidman was a big winner on the night as she took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her role in Big Little Lies.

For the occasion, the Australian beauty wore a bronze Armani Prive gown with a Harry Winston ring and earrings.

E! Live from the Red Carpet host Guiliana Rancic stunned in a silver, gold and black beaded gown from the Steven Khalil Spring 2018 Couture collection.

The presenter made headlines early on in the night, as she questioned Alison Brie about the allegations of sexual misconduct made against her brother-in-law, James Franco on the red carpet.

Alison was joined on the red carpet by her husband Dave Franco, and struck a pose in a siren red, one-shoulder gown by designer Peter Dundas’ namesake label.

Another star who turned heads on the red carpet was Get Out star Allison Williams.

Allison opted for a Ralph & Russo gown, which she paired with Christian Louboutin shoes, Fernando Jorge and Ana Khouri jewelry, and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Meanwhile, Kristen Bell, who hosted the awards ceremony, looked pretty in pink in a J. Mendel gown for the carpet.
