Jennifer Lawrence continued her Christmas tradition this year, by visiting a children’s hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
On Christmas Eve, the Oscar-winning actress surprised patients and staff at Norton Children’s Hospital.
According to WDRB News, Jennifer spent time on the cancer floor and the paediatric intensive care unit while she was there.
In photos posted on social media, the Dark Phoenix star appeared emotional as she met with some of the hospital’s young patients.

Back in 2016, the actress reportedly donated $2 million to the hospital to help establish the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, which cares for children with heart conditions.
This is the sixth time Jennifer has visited the hospital during the festive season, and last year, the hospital noted on Instagram that the visit “has become a tradition for Lawrence each Christmas.”
