She was honoured at the event for her charity work, alongside the first president of Facebook Sean Parker and his wife Alexandra.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gwyneth told Sean she was “totally lost” after his speech – and two tequilas.
“I don’t have your brains — or definitely not your money — but I’m here tonight for UCLA and the doctors who work so tirelessly to try to help the quality of life and bring health and healing to our children,” she said.
“I don’t really deserve it, but thank you for this incredible honour … and, um, I need another tequila.”

Gwyneth’s ex-husband Chris Martin made a surprise appearance during the evening to provide the entertainment, performing a medley of songs.
Geena Davis also attended the event in a flowing blue gown, while Molly Sims and Jaime King both wore printed creations.
