Phoebe Waller-Bridge hosted this weekend’s Saturday Night Live – and brought Love Island back to our screens.
The Fleabag writer starred in and wrote a hilarious parody of the show, where a fellow comedian attempted to replicate Maura Higgins’ distinctive Irish accent.
The comedian plays a character in the skit who is unceremoniously dumped from the villa.

Joking at the show contestant’s expense, she said: “Just got my lips done – I asked the doctor for an allergic reaction.”
After her exit from the villa, the comedian highlights how much influence the reality star’s have after their stints on the show, as her character comes out to an Instagram following that has inflated by over a million.
“Are you joking? I don’t have to be a stupid paediatric nurse anymore, do I? Cha-ching” she jokes.
During her hosting of the show, the writer discussed her sweeping win at last month’s EMMY Awards.
“Back in the day, horny women were to be feared – and now they’re given Emmys,” she said.
